FOREST DROPLETS large

Sensory discs are an excellent tool to support a child's sensory development. Walking on different textures and surfaces stimulates tactile and proprioceptive (deep sensory) receptors in the feet. This allows the child to develop tactile perception, balance and coordination. The tactile and visual sensations are similar to those experienced on a forest path, a sea beach or in the kitchen. The sensory discs are also a great aid for practising tactile differentiation.

 

The green glass pebbles evoke morning raindrops on moss. The streamlined and smooth shape gives a gentle and pleasant sensory experience. By touching them, we stimulate the superficial senses, and by walking on them we provide our feet with additional proprioceptive stimulation. Shimmering in the light, the stones will also provide an interesting visual experience.
